A Proud President Aaron Anthony
releases the graduates
to be greeted by family and friends.

A day to glorify God!  Our graduations are always a day to give glory to God for who He is and what He is accomplishing in and through the lives of our students.  It is a joyful occasion with much praise music to honor our Lord, and many prayers of thanksgiving to Him.

Not a typical graduation! What you see may look like a perfectly normal graduation to you…but remember that Ghana is an emerging nation.  The gowns, the beautiful decorations, the setting in a state-of-the art African Cup soccer stadium, and the joyful celebration throughout the ceremony is not at all normal in Ghana.  Our graduations have become so well known for being so outstanding that many come just to see the ceremony!

Why such a stunning ceremony?  Why not?  Our God is King of kings and Lord of lords!  We are to do all   things in excellence to Him!

The majority of our students come from a very poor  and very typical third-world background.  Even though our tuition is low in comparison to other colleges, most of our students have struggled financially to be able to attend.  What a day for them to remember!

Since the ceremony is attracting people not personally involved with the students, we have one more opportunity to present the Gospel!

God’s great favor!  We have been able to rent the soccer stadium at an incredibly low fee that is not offered to anyone else!  The decorations are provided by a lady in the church Aaron and Grace attend.  The sun has shown upon the ceremonies in the stadium in spite of being the middle of the rainy season!    And God has repeatedly opened the audience’s hearts—the offering we receive has been paying the costs involved in the ceremony!

Special Stories:  Mal, Mary, and Aaron “discovered” Anthony Okyere during a 5 night revival in a rural Assemblies of God church.  The Lord laid it on the hearts of all three of us to ask his pastor to release him to attend the college.  He has done very well academically; and with his God-given beautiful voice, he has led the worship team for our monthly crusades for the past two years.

Jane Larya is a nurse.  She was elected Class Captain, a leadership position that carries a great deal of responsibility.  Normally we only allow the position to be held for one year.  She did so well in the position, we appointed her the second year to continue.  She is pictured smiling as Valedictorian of the part-time three-year diploma program.

Timothy Mensah is the son of our esteemed teacher, Frank Mensah, who passed suddenly five years ago.  We promised his mother, who started to sell cookies to support the family, that we would see that Timothy would get an education.  He was scholarshiped all four years. He is greatly  esteemed by his student peers.  He is pictured surrounded by many of our faculty, who were also remembering his father as they congratulated him  on being Valedictorian.

“For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the Cross” (Heb. 12:2)

April 2nd, 2012

Facing such an undeserved and horrible death, what could possibly bring a thought of joy?  In fact, what do you suppose was the specific joy set before our Lord Jesus that He continued forward and endured the Cross?  Was it knowing He had successfully completed His mission? Was it knowing he was soon to be reunited with His Father in Heaven?  Was it joy to overflowing that He would be receiving into His presence for all eternity those who believed in Him and had accepted His great gift of salvation?

It may be all three of these reasons.  It may be for more reasons than we can even begin to fathom.  We choose to focus on the last reason—that He would be receiving those who accepted His sacrifice on their behalf to cleanse them of their sins and so be declared justified and made righteous before God, and so be with Him for all eternity.

Therefore, it is with joy that we do what we do, so

“that the Lamb  that was slain

may receive the reward

of His suffering.”

Everything this ministry does focuses on presenting the Gospel so that those lost, sighing, dying members of humanity may have opportunity to receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

We have just completed a three night crusade a suburb of Takoradi, Ghana.   In addition to salvations and healings in Jesus’ Name, three churches united together with us to pray for, sponsor and present the crusade!  This is unheard of in Ghana, because the local pastors are very territorial.  These churches and the Bible College students all spent hours at the end of the last night of the crusade praying for the suburb, as well as for the upcoming elections in Ghana.

The story behind the phrase,

“May the Lamb that was slain

receive the reward

of His suffering!”

On an island in the West Indies, an atheist British owner had 2000 to 3000 slaves. He is known to have said, “No preacher, no clergyman, will ever stay on this island. If he’s shipwrecked we’ll keep him in a separate house until he has to leave, but he’s never going to talk to any of us about God.”  Think of the thousands of slaves brought from the jungles of Africa  to live and die on that island without hearing of Christ.

Two young Moravians heard about this and were greatly distressed. They sold themselves to the British planter  in order to live with the slaves as slaves to bring the Good News to them.  As the ship left its pier in the river at Hamburg and was going out into the North Sea, the families were there, weeping, for they knew they would never see them again. They questioned the wisdom of these young men. As the gap widened between ship and shore, one lad with his arm linked through the arm of his fellow, raised his hand and shouted across the gap the last words that were heard from them: “May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!”

At this Easter Season, may we all recommit ourselves to live and spread the Good News, so “that the Lamb that was slain may receive the reward of His suffering!”

May you and your family have a

Blessed Easter!

Great Fruit from the South Africa Mission Trip

March 12th, 2012

From the Desk of Pastor Aaron Anthony

For the past four years, End Time Harvest Bible College has been able to lead a group of students and staff to the nation of South Africa.  This year’s trip to Durban, South Africa made the greatest impact of all!  We ministered in two in-door revival meetings at two churches, spent five nights in the community of Bottlebrush, participated in the children’s feeding program in Bottlebrush, led a four-night interdenominational tent meeting on the grounds of a soccer stadium, and on Sundays, ministered in a variety of local churches.  Not only were over four hundred souls won to Christ, but there were numerous instantaneous miracles that God performed in each meeting.  I am still receiving reports even after 10 days back home in Ghana.

Revival Meetings:  One of our goals when we lead revival meetings in churches is to assist the pastor in the spiritual growth of his congregation.  Our focus is to minister to the leadership during the day, and lead services for the church in the evenings, asking the presence of the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and teach.  In one of these churches, the power of God was so great, one of the most unusual events of the trip took place.  A woman who had had a stroke two years before and had been unable to walk without the use of her crutches came.  One of our students had a dream the night before that a woman with crutches would come and be healed.  When we arrived at the church, and the student saw the woman, he became timid.  We encouraged Him to pray with the lady.  The Holy Spirit prevailed over his timidity, and God used this young man to bring healing to this woman!

Stroke victim healed, later talking with two of our faculty members.

Bottlebrush.  When the team returned to the extremely financially poor and drug infested community of Bottlebrush, we were pleased to find that the church planted last year was flourishing.  Their congregation helped set up the tents and encouraged their neighbors to come to the meetings.  We spent five nights ministering to the people there.  New this year: we had two tents, one for adults, and one for children.  This is the first time we ministered to children at the same time as the adults.  I purchased 100 boxes of crayons and printed Bible story pictures that accompanied the Bible lessons for the kids to color.  Both tents were overflowing, and God moved mightily each night!

Coloring in Bottlebrush

On the third night there was a young lady who was experiencing pain.  She had been prayed for, but when service concluded, I saw she was still holding her side.  I approached her, and asked if she would like more prayer.  With an affirmative answer, Rev. Nelson and I began to pray for her.  The pain moved around her body until she appeared to want to vomit.  The next night, this young lady returned to the service, absolutely glowing!  She testified that that morning, she had vomited out something out like two stones, and she was completely free of pain!

Testifying the next night...she vomited 2 stones after receiving prayer and was now feeling fine.

Tent Crusade:

Another first this year was holding an inter-denominational tent crusade at the Chatsworth Soccer Stadium grounds.  Chatsworth is a suburb of Durban, with a population of nearly 550,000 people.  However, less than 10% are Christians. From the first night of this crusade, the atmosphere was charged with the presence of God.  One of our bachelor degree graduates, Pastor Kofi, preached the first night, and nearly the entire tent came forward to either give their lives to Christ or to re-commit themselves to God!

Saved by Jesus!

Another great miracle took place at the crusade. Actually, it took place outside the tent.  I had stationed four students to stand in each entrance, as ushers.  A car quickly pulled up in front of one of our students.  They said their daughter was near death at the hospital.  She had been on life support for two weeks and was not recovering.  The student noticed that the father had a prayer cloth.  So he and another student prayed over the prayer cloth.  Then our student told them to go and place it on the girl.  They drove away with great speed, but they returned before the service had ended.  They came out of the car crying and shouting.  The students actually thought the child had died.  To their great joy, they told him that when the prayer cloth was placed on the child’s body, she immediately recovered and was up walking around!

The last night of the crusade, I was scheduled to preach, but as we arrived at the tent, the Holy Spirit was stirring the atmosphere.  So rather than preach, I continued to flow with what God was doing.  We prayed for all who needed prayer.  There was a woman who had suffered from arthritis in the knees for 18 years, and God healed her instantaneously.  She came up to the altar, jumping and weeping before the altar.

A woman approached me who confessed she was under the bondage of witchcraft, and voodoo.  We began to pray with her and within minutes, this woman was completely set free.  She was weeping and praising Jesus for her deliverance.

Delivered from witchcraft

When all had received prayer, we began to lead the congregation into warfare prayer, praying against the various strongholds that rule in that area.  The testimony I have received since we left is that revival is continuing to spread throughout the churches and the town.  In addition, there is a pastor who has a rehab center, and hundreds are now coming to him declaring that they want to be free from alcohol and drug addiction.

We were told later that the churches in Chatsworth had not ever gathered together for meetings and programs.  This was the first time that so many churches (18 in all) came together to support the vision of the lead pastor who organized the revival crusade.   What is even more interesting in light of this, is that after the service had concluded, no one was leaving, and more prayer continued despite the program begin officially concluded.  God was still at work inside and outside the tent. God truly visited that town and those who attended the meetings.

More Fruit!  One miracle that happened at the revival meetings we  learned about only on the day before our return to Ghana.  A man named Keith had been brought by his Hindu family to our host church during the revival meetings.  He had problems with his kidneys and his heart.  He had been on dialysis, but was only getting progressively worse.  The doctors had also determined there was a type of film surrounding his heart.  The day before we were leaving, he was brought back to see us at the house to be prayed for again.  He told us that the first time he was prayed for he had felt so much better, but still was having these issues.  After prayer, he went to on to his scheduled doctor’s appointment to determine when he would need to have an operation.  He called us later that evening to tell us  that the doctors were amazed that the problem he was facing was going away, and now they wonder if he will even need surgery!

God was great!  We saw hundreds saved, healed, and delivered.  The power and presence of God was so great in each of the services.  Wherever the team went, including preaching in various churches on Sundays, God’s presence manifested and each pastor brought me wonderful testimonies concerning our students’ ministration at their churches in the Name of Jesus.

The Greatest Gift of All

At no other season of the year do we feel warmer toward our fellowman.  At no other time are we more kind in our relationships and more sympathetic towards other’s needs.  At no other time of the year are we more expressive of our love than in the Christmas season.

This is good, because if there is anything the world needs, it is love.  Man’s deepest felt need is to be loved.  Man’s deepest real need is to be saved from his sins.  God answered man’s deepest needs by giving us His Son.  The life and death of Jesus Christ shows us the immeasurable greatness of  the love of God.

In the Gospel of John, we are told that most men did not receive Jesus.  In spite of their rejection, Jesus stayed his course, suffered and died. His act on our behalf revealed the fullness of God’s love and become the means by which those who do repent and  receive Jesus as Lord and Savior can receive forgiveness of their sins and have eternal life with Him.

No wonder the angelic choir sang, “We bring you good news of great joy.” Jesus, whose birth we celebrate, is the One—the only One—who can not only save us from our sin, but also meet every need, provide solutions for every problem, and satisfy every longing of our soul.  That brings joy—joy, not as the world gives, but as only Christ gives.

This month as we draw near to Christmas Day, we will experience many different joys.  Families will gather, gifts will be given and received, meals will be eaten, and good memories will be built for future recollection.

In all of this bustle, let us not forget the greatest  reason for our joy.  Let us remember that we are celebrating God’s greatest gift to mankind.  May we go tell it on every mountain that Jesus Christ is born—born to save every sinful soul, and to make whole very broken heart, every shattered dream, every disappointed life.  In Christmas, in the birth of Christ, is found the remedy needed for our human predicament.   During this season, who will you seek out and tell about God’s gift of love?

The Anthony Family

Sends you

Christmas Greetings

May you be

 especially blessed this

Christmas Season!

Pastor Aaron’s Trip to Kenya

December 1st, 2011

He writes….

In October, I went to Kenya for the first time.  I had the privilege of being the main speaker for the Church of Pentecost during their annual National Leaders’ Conference.  I have known the host pastor for about 11 years before he was transferred from Ghana to Kenya to serve there as national overseer of the Church of Pentecost.

I spoke to his leaders on topics ranging from winning the war over the flesh, being led by the Spirit of God, and ending with a passionate message on world evangelism.  That last session turned into a great time of prayer as we laid hands on each pastor, the elders, deacons, deaconesses, and all other participants.  It was an awesome time in the Lord.  At the end of the three-day session, they all came individually to express their appreciation for my coming so far to teach them and impart into their lives.

On the last Sunday, we traveled to the Masai land where we were to meet with a group of their churches holding a joint service.  Many of their members walked 10 miles or more to attend the church service.  This is not a rare occasion, as I was told that they often walk great distances to attend church.  They normally begin church by 10 am and will close after 2 pm.  They will be praising the Lord, dancing, worshiping, receiving the Word of God, and continue to dance for more hours!   I delivered a message I felt was from the Lord on winning the war of love.  This turned out to be an important message, because the Masai people have as part of their culture  taking revenge themselves for wrongs committed against them. We also were led to pray for the entire church and their work throughout the   Masai land.

As I was leaving, I felt great satisfaction knowing that my journey was successful.  First of all, because the pastors at the retreat reacted with such affirmation to the messages.  Second, we are believing God to send a group of students to Kenya and into the Masai tribal area next year,  I needed to go there beforehand to assess the ministry possibilities and see the locations for the crusade and places of ministry.  I also needed to have the people get to know me.  Not only were they able to get to know me, but on the Sunday I ministered in the Masai church, they gave me one of their traditional neck pieces, which symbolizes their acceptance of me.  I believe that a year from now, the Lord is going to do a great work through the team that will go to Kenya.

Thank you for your prayers!  You were there with me!
God bless you, Pastor Aaron

End Time Harvest Hosts Summer Missions Team “Ghana Team 2011″

September 10th, 2011

We have just returned from an amazing twelve days of high-speed ministry, the impact of which will continue years from now!  God put together a group of people from three states who ministered in their  diverse gifts to every age group.

Back Row:  Pastor Troy Keaton, TJ Keaton, Mal & Mary Anthony, Ashlee Walker, Alicia Koenig, Bobbi Parody, Pam Sinex
Front Row:  Trever Keaton, Caitlyn Parody, Courtney Hooven, Mary Anthony of NY

God united them to have one heart and one purpose—to win the lost and love the won.  They were appointed, anointed, and called by God to minister to specific groups of people.

They ministered to

Look At These Kids Smiling Faces at the Children’s Outreaches!

Kids all over the world all laugh the same!

After Pastor Troy and Trever demonstrated the crucifixion, Alicia and Ashlee explained the gospel message with a gospel cube.

The children learned to share the gospel with the beaded bracelet they assembled

Trever showed them the importance of using their spiritual tools correctly.  The umbrella is of no use unless used properly, neither are God’s tools useful until used properly.

The teens taught them about the armor of God.

Now they are in God’s army!

When they did the Armor of God craft to take home, they gave us huge smiles when we told them what a nice job they did!

In a skit about David and Goliath, they learned that little guys can do big things for God, too…just like David! They colored the story in a small coloring book!  These children had never seen a crayon before!

They were thrilled! They were able to take the crayons home, too!

This simple cross necklace became a treasure for these children.

We ministered to over 300 village children and 100 children in city churches, and about 70 in private elementary schools.

Over 55% of the population in Ghana is aged 15 and under.  These have heard the truth of the Good News.  They will tell others, and there will be a big ripple effect.

Women’s Ministry

The first day of the Women’s Ministry took place in prison.  End Time Harvest has a letter from the National Prison Bureau to minister in any prison in all of Ghana.  We appeared at the appointed time, but the lady warden delayed letting us in.  Finally, she opened the door and greeted us sternly, in accordance with her office. Inside, the residents were waiting, timidly, and the guards stood around them in their stern guard posture.  By God’s grace, one of the guards started praise and worship.  The Holy Spirit came down!  The guards, the residents, and the team were all dancing together. We started off giving each person a rose, including the guards, and telling them that they were special to Jesus.  Their hearts opened to hear the messages brought by the ladies.

We offered a time of prayer.  Jesus worked by our sides with signs and wonders.  When we had ministered to the residents, the guards quickly asked for prayer for themselves! As we departed, we left gifts of personal items for each lady and most of the guards.  As we left, we asked the warden if she would like prayer.  She did, we prayed, and Jesus melted her heart!  You would have to be there to see the change that took place. We were ten roses short for the guards, and promised to bring them back.  We did a week later.  The warden opened the door immediately with a big smile, and ushered us right in.  The Gospel cannot be kept in chains!  Hallelujah!

The three ladies on the team presented  one message, each taking a part.  They moved from who we are in Christ, to how the busy-ness pf our daily life draws us away from our time with Him distorting the truth of who we are in Christ.  Stumbling blocks then get set in our life, making it harder and harder to do what God has called us to.  The women were presented with ways to get free of their blocks and be all God called them to be.

Our ladies ministered to the women in Pastor Matthew’s church in the village.  They were very receptive of the message the ladies brought.  We ended our session with them with an incredible Holy Spirit moment of foot washing.  Our own ladies were moved as much as they were.

From the village, our ladies went the next evening to minister to pastors’ wives and lady pastors.  We went from the transparent simplicity of the village life to a room of ladies who were both knowledgeable and well-versed in scripture.  Women are seldom ministered to in Ghana, and these ladies’ hearts were also ripe for the messages delivered through the three ladies on the team.

Our team also ministered to the ladies in the church Aaron and Grace attend, held a three-day seminar for women from five churches, and also addressed a meeting of Women’s Aglow.

Ladies convinced they are beautiful and special in God's eyes

Our Lord had divine appointments at each meeting.  We may think we know what our agenda is, but HE always accomplishes His.

Hospital Visitation

At the hospital, our team ministered Christ to  such hurting people —

  • A daughter wailing and sobbing as her mother just passed that very moment
  • A grandmother was sitting and holding her grandchild, the mother had just died in childbirth
  • A Muslim man wanted prayer for his wife’s father, but held his hands over his wife’s ears so she couldn’t hear
  • Two sisters, Jehovah’s Witnesses, wanted prayers for their very aged mother.  Afterwards, they wanted to hear about our Jesus
  • Two mothers who had miscarried
  • Very sick little babies
  • Several patients  and visitors gave their lives to Jesus

Seminars at End Time Harvest Bible College

Close to Pastor Troy’s heart—leadership development.  He spent two mornings with the Bible College students and invited local pastors.  In fact, the second day, he packed the house…that was after he preached on holiness!

Smiles were brought to many faces as the love of Christ was shed abroad

Ghana Team 2011 Testimonies

What an incredible experience,  10 days in Ghana with Aaron and Grace Anthony.  It was great to experience up close and personal their passion and vision for the Kingdom of God in Ghana.  The trip involved the full range of ministry opportunities.  We were involved in Children’s Ministry, Teens, Prison, Hospitals, Crusades, Local Church and  Bible College teaching sessions.  It was a privilege to have my boys with me and watch them experience the world and the work of God.  We are better equipped to serve because of this trip.          Pastor Troy Keaton, Eastlake Community Church, Moneta, VA

For me, Ghana was a very awesome trip. It was my first time to leave the U.S. so it was a huge change. The trip showed me how a lot of the rest of the world lives, and how what you think is just something small — they take as something huge. It was awesome to work with the kids and to see how they just loved everything we did. What I got most out of this trip is that I can, with God, make a difference, and I can change someone’s life for the better.                 T.J. Keaton, age 14

What a privilege God has given me to come to another country and further His kingdom.  One of the main impressions that I will leave Ghana with is the generosity of the people here.  They have so little, yet give so much.  We in the US have so much, yet give so little. The hearts of the women are so receptive to receive the Word of the Lord.  The Ghanaian women work so hard physically, both in their work and nurturing their children.  I will surely pray for the country of Ghana and miss the people terribly.  I pray that I have the opportunity to return to Ghana.  .Mary Anthony – Believers Chapel, Canastota, New York

My experience in Ghana has truly been life-changing!  As I met with women and children, I experienced God through the eyes, words and hearts of the Ghanaians. Their simple yet strong faith encouraged me and stretched my faith! I am so grateful for this Ghanaian mission experience. .Pam Sinex, Eastlake Community Church, VA

I am so truly blessed to have been part of this summer mission team to Ghana! This team was truly put together by God and His hand was upon everything we were able to accomplish for the kingdom of God! The ministry was exhilarating and non-stop from the first day.  I had the opportunity on this trip to participate in some awesome women’s ministry outreach in several areas as well as the children’s outreach programs. The people of Ghana are so very open and receptive to the message of Jesus Christ!   This was my second mission trip to Ghana and look forward to coming back to continue working with the beautiful people in Ghana – it is truly one of the most life changing experiences I have had!  Bobbi Parody – NY

I do not think anyone in my school could ever say that they had gone to Africa to speak the word of God and lead people to the Lord! Thank you for everyone who helped out with this and who supported and prayed.  It was great!  Alicia Koenig, NY  Age 15

This experience has been life changing, I am really happy to see the things that God has done through me and the team members.  I was honored to be able to come to Ghana, and to be able to work with so many people.  I lead many people to the Lord, and prayed for many people.  I saw God do many good things. I will miss all the people that I got to work with. Love <3   Ashlee Walker-NY  Age 17

Just coming to Ghana is a confirmation that I am supposed to be a missionary.  This experience was an amazing one and I will never forget it!  Just the people that I have met, and will continue to get to know, has been life changing.  Being involved with the kids and seeing their smiling faces is priceless, and I know that their lives will be forever changed.  My life will also be changed by seeing how grateful they were!! Just knowing that hundreds of children have heard the Word of God and will continue to spread it to all their friends and families is amazing!  I loved this trip and hope to go on many more!  With love <3     Courtney Hooven-Life Church, Indianapolis, IN  Age 17

This was my second time in Ghana, and it was amazing!   I saw and experienced much more this time around than the first time. I saw God healing people,  and it was awesome. This trip brought me closer the Lord and improved my devotional life. I had fun with the whole team. I can’t wait to go back <3.   Caitlyn Parody-NY  Age 20

Student Missions Trip to Durban, South Africa

September 3rd, 2011

This is the third mission’s trip to Durban.  Of primary interest was returning to Bottle Brush once again to visit converts from the preceding years, and see how the church planted last year was faring.   By God’s grace, all are doing well and growing.

We did another five-night crusade in Bottle Brush.  A terrible cold front moved in, but despite the cold weather, people came out to praise the Lord, and receive the Word from God.  Every night, the Lord was faithful and healed His people.

One lady with HIV Aids was prayed for on Wednesday, and was told to see the doctor, which she did on Thursday.  The doctor confirmed that this deadly disease is “mysteriously” disappeared from her body!

One lady Pastor Aaron prayed for sought prayer for her child who was home sick.  He prayed and spoke the word of God that by the time she arrived home her child will be well.  She came the next night to testify that Jesus has healed her child!

Night after night, we saw healing, salvation and victory in the tent.  The final night, despite the cold, the people stayed on after the service for an additional 30 or 40 minutes dancing and rejoicing in what the Lord has done.  It was a wonderful celebration in the Lord!

Children’s Ministry

The children that live in this community are desperate and destitute.  Many of them no longer have their real parents taking care of them due to death, predominantly because of the HIV virus.

Our host church, Good News Centre, has been feeding the children in Bottle Brush for the past 10 years.  They are feeding 1500 children in a span of 3 days.

We continued to have the privilege of serving them in a small way by packing the food, praying over the food, and then distributing the food to the children.

We were invited one morning to speak to a Christian School from the grades of 1-12.  It was a good meeting filled with Ghanaian praise and worship!  Then one of our older students, Mr. Coker spoke to the group followed by Abiba, the former Muslim.  Afterwards, the team sang a few more songs, and some of the students boldly left their seats to join us on stage and dance with the group.  According to the principal, this was quite unusual and she felt that something had been lifted and broken in the atmosphere.

We did not know until later that the school admits anyone, including Muslims, so it was powerful that Abiba, being a convert from Islam spoke, and she spoke very well.

Afterwards, they asked us to pray individually for the lower elementary school children and the entire teaching staff, and it was so sweet to see each member of the team pray for each child one after the other

Bible College students praying and loving on the children

Phoenix is the largest suburb of Durban.  We spent 3 days there ministering in a church there called Zoe Global Ministries.  On Sunday, in between the morning and evening services, we went to a more poverty-stricken area and fed all who were willing to come out for food, worship, and the Word.  About 100 men, women and children came to receive.

The final night of the revival meeting was awesome, as God’s Holy Spirit moved among the people.  After one of our faculty members, Rev. Nelson, had finished his message,, the Lord impressed me to call all the youth of the church forward to pray over them.  Testimonies came later how such a spirit of freedom and liberty swept through the church.

God moved sovereignly each night of the revival meeting.  Again and again, God confirmed His Word with signs and with wonders.  We feel so blessed to see what we have seen.  It is an awesome honor and privilege to minister in the name of Jesus.  It is a joy for us to see our students step out with boldness in another setting to declare the Word of God.  What a joy to see them loving on people that have even less than they have.

Thank you all for your prayers and support of this ministry.  We are making an impact beyond Ghana.  Give God all the praise and glory!

Reflections on Ten Years

June 7th, 2011

From the heart of Pastor Aaron

Wait for it… For it shall surely come to pass.”  (Habakkuk 2: 3b)

What began as a vision from God in 1993 has now blossomed into a reality, touching lives, who touch other lives, who in turn, touch more lives.

Before any vision can start becoming a reality, there are many activities preparing the way. Such was the case before the opening of End Time Harvest Bible College.  Land was searched out, discovered, and purchased in 1999.  The work of clearing the land and constructing the first building began in March of 2000.  All of this was a big adventure, with God leading the way—sending a “man” appearing from nowhere to take us to the property, and sending another man sitting in a bulldozer one hot afternoon, who volunteered to clear and level the land for the price of his gas!

In January of 2001, End Time Harvest Bible College opened its doors with 10 students, whom we came to affectionately call, “The Pioneers.”  During our first semester, the first building had not been completely finished.  Everyday class was being held in a different room in order to avoid the work that was going on.  Before the semester began, one of the first students passed by and cautiously asked if we were really going to begin the semester on time.  To his amazement, classes did begin on time.  Now, ten years, later, over 380 men and women have passed through these doors and are now serving the Lord in His Kingdom.

We were determined that End Time Harvest Bible College would be a place where men and women could come into an atmosphere charged with the presence and anointing of the Holy Spirit.  For these past ten years, the Lord has been faithful. His presence is experienced through our morning devotions, our weekly chapel services, and throughout the day during classes.  We truly are a “School of the Spirit!”  People are often drawn up to the school from the road as they pass by.

Most of the memorable occasions happen off campus while the students are involved in ministries both within Ghana and abroad on the foreign mission field.  Building the worship center for Ekuasi Prison will always be a highlight for this ministry.  It demonstrated to the inmates that we were not merely interested in preaching to them, but we were equally interested in their welfare.  We went further than any other ministry had gone before into prison ministry, and God graced us with favor that we may minister in any prison in the entire nation..

Going to Ivory Coast in 2008 was another highlight.  Never before had any minister from Ghana or another English-speaking country brought so many pastors (who were our students) to their nation for the purpose of evangelical outreaches.  The highlight of the trip was the mad man who was delivered the last night of the crusade.  Our true reward was receiving a call from our host pastor in the Ivory Coast who had received a call from the same man, now back in his native country of Benin who said, “Tell End Time, I’m home, and God bless them.”

From 2009-present, we have been able to lead three foreign mission trips to South Africa.  God continues to do amazing things whenever we step into that nation—bridging ethnicities, watching God perform miraculous healings, and seeing souls come to the altar.  What struck me most last year was the drug addict who came to the front to give up his drugs and surrender his life to Christ right during the preaching of one of our Staff Members!

It has been such a personal blessing for me to see each student come in with such openness and desire to learn.  It has been a pleasure to see the less educated have the opportunity to fully complete their course of study, and some even receiving honor distinctions as Valedictorian and Salutatorian.  It has been a great journey to see the maturation of the students. As they first enter, many are shy and unsure of themselves and their calling.  What a blessing to watch them develop into bold, dynamic ministers of the Gospel.

TEN YEARS!  Over 40,000 Ghanaians ministered to… over 20,000 receiving Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Over 380 graduates from over 160 different denominational backgrounds, being raised up as flaming arrows to be released into this dry world spreading revival fire!  Ten Years of Miracles!  Ten Years of the delivering power of Jesus!  Ten Years of souls entering the Kingdom of Heaven!  I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years will unfold before our eyes!
